Browser tools

PDF to images, text, Markdown, PDF/A, grayscale, images to PDF and image conversion run entirely in your browser. Files are never transmitted.

Server tools

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OCR, web page, HTML and e-book conversions upload your file over HTTPS to our server. It is processed in an isolated job, stored only in a temporary job folder, and deleted together with the result one hour after completion. We never open, read or share file contents.

Library

Premium members may switch on the file library; only then is a result encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and stored until they delete it, or 30 days after Premium ends.

Account data

We store your e-mail, a salted password hash (or your Google account ID), your plan, settings, API keys and a job history (tool, sizes, timing – never file contents). You can export or delete your account at any time.

Daily counter

To apply the free daily limit we set one cookie with a random id and keep a hashed IP address per day. Neither identifies you personally.

Analytics

Page views are counted with a cookieless, first-party counter without personal data.
